Audit students are defined as those who wish to enrol in a unit without pursuing academic credit.

HOW TO APPLY

Audit students are defined as those who wish to enrol in a unit without pursuing academic credit.

Audit students:

are advised that places for audit students are limited, or may not be available in any given unit from time to time;

must be 18 years old as of the first day of classes

may apply to enrol in a unit designed for award students, with the permission of the relevant Lecturer, on the understanding that such units are presented at award level;

may enrol in a maximum of four units presented at award level;

must demonstrate that they satisfy any prerequisite knowledge that might be required of the unit(s) being considered for enrolment;

may apply to enrol in a unit that is delivered via on-campus weekly lectures or distance education (online);

will be welcome to attend weekly lectures either in person on campus or via video-conferencing;

will be entitled to access all handouts, readings, audio-visual recordings, and photocopies normally distributed to award students;

are kindly asked to reserve their questions and comments until the end of class sessions, or during recess between sessions, so that priority may be given to award students;

will not be required to complete assessment tasks prescribed for award students, and do not have the privilege of assessment; and

may request a statement acknowledging participation in such units from the Registrar

If English is a second language, a prospective audit student must have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS, or equivalent) score of 6.5 with no score less than 6.0 in all bands of the ‘academic format’ of the test.

The application process is paper-based.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must:

complete an ENROLMENT FORM (PDF) and submit it to the Registrar two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the relevant semester (see Important Dates)

provide a scanned pdf copy of their Driver Licence or government approved photo identification card.

pay the applicable fee as noted on the enrolment form

Standard Audit Student Fee: $510

Orthodox Clergymen (incl. wife & children), St Andrew’s Alumni, Church Volunteers: $340

Students currently enrolled in any course of study with St Andrew’s: $170
