Overview
This course unit builds on the platform of H7110A by examining the historical, cultural and theological factors of the Eastern Roman Empire, or Byzantium, generally from the age of St Constantine the Great until the period of the Triumph of Orthodoxy or, from the 4th to 9th centuries, as well as the empires relations with its neighbours. It is an Elective unit and forms part of a Major in Church History within the Bachelor awards.
