In accordance with the policies of the Sydney College of Divinity, the overall length of assessment tasks is as follows for a 9 credit point unit:

• 7100-7300 level course units: 4,000 words or equivalent
• 8500-9600 level course units: 5,000 words or equivalent

The study workload is 143 hours per 9 credit point unit, typically comprised of 12 teaching weeks with 3 hours contact per week (or equivalent for distance education) and 9 hours of private study per week (including assessment preparation).
